LEAD Careers was founded by Adam Johnston, a recruitment professional with 11 years Industry knowledge recruiting Landscape Architects for reputable Studios ranging from small singular Practices through to Multi-Office International Consultancies.

Prior to launching LEAD Careers, Adam acted as Team Leader for Consultants focusing exclusively in Landscape and Urban Design, Ecology, Town Planning and Architecture recruitment. Adam has a fully comprehensive understanding of his Sector which is further strengthened by his numerous LinkedIn recommendations from candidates at all levels of their career from raw University Graduates, through to Associate Directors and Directors.

With good relationships with Award-Winning Consultancies and Universities across the UK, Adam has become a first-choice option for candidates when searching for an opportunity in Landscape Architecture and a consistent choice for Recruiting Managers when looking for Experienced Hires.

Amanda Costello, who heads up LEAD´s Ecology and Architecture sector, has 6 years’ experience recruiting Ecologists of all levels. Amanda works with dedicated Ecological Practices to source Junior to Senior, Principal and Technical Director/Ecology Leads across the UK and confident providing quality of service to fulfill her clients business growth plans. As part of the EIA Process, we will also be actively looking for candidates with a specialism in Biodiversity Impact Assessments (BIA). This is an area we hope to expand in the coming year.

The Environment team offer both a tailored search and select and a comprehensive headhunting service working with you at every stage of the process within the Environmental Sector.

Additional to this, Amanda works with specialist dedicated Multi-Disciplinary and Architectural Consultancies to provide support and assistance for their recruitment needs. Disciplines included range from Architectural Technologists through to Part I and II Architects seeking to further their career within the Design Industry.
