Role – Assistant Landscape Architect
Location – South Wales
Salary - £24 - £26K DOE
 
Our client is looking for an Assistant Landscape Architect to join their team and work alongside the director to help them make the most of the growth in the landscape sector. They are a multidisciplinary studio based in South Wales who work across a wide range of projects, with experience in residential and mixed-use developments, distribution centres, renewable energy, education facilities and recreation proposals.
The successful candidate will be offered the opportunity to grow with the company and a commitment to their future professional development through CPD and training sessions. There are also opportunities for in-house mentoring on the pathway to chartership (P2C) available.
 
ASSISTANT LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • A degree in Landscape Architecture
  • 2 years’ experience of written LVIA work
  • Good knowledge of the UK planning system
  • Good technical skills and previous experience producing environmental statements, landscape management plans and landscape chapters
  • Knowledge of planting to create and spec detailed landscape designs
  • Excellent IT skills, with a thorough working knowledge of AutoCAD, Photoshop and Sketchup
  • Eligible to work legally in the UK
  • A full UK driving licence
