THE ROLE
  • Biodiversity Net Gain Specialist
  • The role will include but not be limited to:
  • Fieldwork, preparing management plans and documents, liaising with stakeholders
  • Offering expert advice
  • GIS Mapping
  • Development and input into projects
  • General ecological field work
  • Report writing
 
REQUIREMENTS
  • A degree in ecology or a closely related field
  • Membership (or eligible) of Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management
  • Experience in the use of the 4.0 metric and condition assessments
  • Knowledge of BNG principles and processes
  • GIS use (preferably QGIS)
  • Botanical survey experience
  • Experience in the preparation of habitat management plans
  • A full, clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential to be considered for this role
