THE ROLE
- Biodiversity Net Gain Specialist
- The role will include but not be limited to:
- Fieldwork, preparing management plans and documents, liaising with stakeholders
- Offering expert advice
- GIS Mapping
- Development and input into projects
- General ecological field work
- Report writing
REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in ecology or a closely related field
- Membership (or eligible) of Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management
- Experience in the use of the 4.0 metric and condition assessments
- Knowledge of BNG principles and processes
- GIS use (preferably QGIS)
- Botanical survey experience
- Experience in the preparation of habitat management plans
- A full, clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle are essential to be considered for this role
