Role – Ecologist
Location – Scotland
Salary - £24 - £28K
We are working with a Multidisciplinary Consultancy who offer ecological services at all stages of projects to a variety of clients throughout the UK. They are currently looking for an Ecologist to join their team in Scotland. The successful Ecologist will be working on a variety of projects ranging from residential, commercial, leisure and infrastructure.
ECOLOGIST KEY REQUIREMENTS
- A Degree in Ecology or a related subject
- CIEEM Membership or eligible
- A minimum of 3 years private consultancy experience
- Good knowledge of best practice survey techniques
- An excellent understanding of ecology and wildlife protection in the context of the UK planning system
- Specialist knowledge botanical survey or bats
- A class licence for one or more protected species
- Excellent report writing skills
- A level of competency in Microsoft Office software
- Excellent communication skills
- A full, clean UK driving licence and access to vehicle
