Role – Ecologist
Location – Scotland
Salary - £24 - £28K
We are working with a Multidisciplinary Consultancy who offer ecological services at all stages of projects to a variety of clients throughout the UK. They are currently looking for an Ecologist to join their team in Scotland. The successful Ecologist will be working on a variety of projects ranging from residential, commercial, leisure and infrastructure.
ECOLOGIST KEY REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Ecology or a closely related subject
- At least 2 years consultancy experience
- Project management experience
- Good report writing and data management skills
- A protected species licence or be working towards a licence
- A range of experience across species
- A specialism in one discipline, ideally in ornithology, protected mammal species such as bats, or habitats (NVC, Phase 1 and/or UKHab)
- Experience in Ecological/Environmental Clerk of Works is also desirable
- Experience with BNG calculations is also desirable
- A full driving license is essential
