Role – Landscape Architect/Garden Designer
Location – Bedfordshire
Salary – £DOE

Our client, a design-led practice in Bedfordshire looking for a Landscape Architect to join their growing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys taking ownership of projects from concept to construction, working collaboratively across disciplines, and producing high-quality, deliverable designs. The studio has a hands-on and down-to-earth approach, with a strong team culture and a genuine commitment to creative, practical landscapes. THE ROLE
  • This is a broad and engaging role where you’ll be involved across all stages of a project. With support from your line manager, you will:
  • Lead and programme project deliverables across RIBA work stages
  • Coordinate with external consultants and clients
  • Prepare and present design proposals
  • Produce construction details and technical drawings
  • Support tender submissions, specs and related documentation
  • Manage health and safety duties in line with designer obligations
  • Maintain drawing protocols across file-sharing platforms
  • Collaborate with internal teams including designers, site operatives, and the admin team
  • Attend client meetings, CPDs, and office knowledge sessions
 
KEY REQUIREMENTS
  • Degree in Landscape Architecture (experienced garden designers with a diploma will also be considered)
  • Strong design and site analysis skills
  • Knowledge of planting and planting styles
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, InDesign, SketchUp and Photoshop
  • Organised, analytical and comfortable working to deadlines
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Working knowledge of planning policy and landscape construction
  • Confident monitoring site works and producing reports
  • Happy liaising with clients and external teams
