Role – Landscape Architect/Planner
Location – Wiltshire
Salary - £35 - £40K
Our client, a well-established multidisciplinary consultancy in Wiltshire is looking to bring in a Landscape Architect with LVIA experience to support a growing and varied workload.
The practice has a strong footing in planning-led work, with projects spanning residential, strategic land, mixed-use and infrastructure schemes. The landscape team plays an important role within the wider business, working closely with planners and urban designers, which means you’re involved in projects from an early stage rather than just coming in at the reporting phase.
This role would suit someone who enjoys the LVIA side of the work and wants to continue developing their experience, while still having the opportunity to get involved in broader landscape planning and design input where appropriate.
THE ROLE
- Preparing LVIA and LVA reports to support planning applications
- Carrying out site appraisals, baseline studies and landscape sensitivity work
- Contributing to planning submissions and, where required, appeals
- Working alongside planners and urban designers on wider project strategies
- Supporting or leading on projects depending on your level of experience
- Getting involved in a mix of landscape planning and some design input
They’re flexible on level, so this could suit someone earlier in their career looking to build confidence and take on more responsibility, or someone more experienced who is comfortable leading on projects and mentoring others.

- Degree in landscape architecture
- Experience preparing LVIA work is key
- Good understanding of the UK planning system and development process
- Ability to manage your own workload and contribute within a team

- Chartered status or working towards it would be beneficial, but not essential
