Role – Landscape Architect/Senior Landscape Architect

A well-established design led landscape architecture and urban design practice is looking to appoint both a Landscape Architect and a Senior Landscape Architect to join its growing London team. The studio works on a wide range of ambitious landscape and public realm projects across the UK and internationally, offering the opportunity to contribute to complex city shaping developments at a variety of scales.
Based in Central London, the team provides a collaborative and supportive environment where designers are encouraged to develop their skills, contribute ideas and take ownership of their work. Projects are fast moving, varied and design focused, making this an excellent opportunity for ambitious landscape architects looking to broaden their experience.
THE ROLE
The successful candidates will play a key role in the design and delivery of landscape and urban design projects from concept through to implementation.
Working closely with multidisciplinary teams, they will contribute to high quality design solutions, technical packages and project delivery across a diverse portfolio of work.
An interest in working on projects across different geographical regions and cultural contexts would be advantageous.
REQUIREMENTS
- Experience working within landscape architecture, urban design or a related discipline
- A strong design portfolio showcasing excellent visual communication skills
- A passion for creating high quality, people focused environments
- Strong communication skills, attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem solving
- An interest in sustainable, regenerative and environmentally responsible design
- Degree qualifications in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, AutoCAD and Rhino
- Experience with Revit, Grasshopper and emerging digital design technologies would be beneficial
LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should typically have between 2 and 4 years of professional experience and be confident contributing to the design, development and documentation of landscape or urban design projects.
SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT REQUIREMENTS
Applicants should possess at least 5 years of industry experience and have experience coordinating project teams, mentoring junior staff and supporting project delivery. Confidence in client interaction, presentations and project management would be highly beneficial.
