This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive, forward-thinking consultancy as a Principal Landscape Planner, working on some of the most exciting projects in the UK, across energy, infrastructure, transport, and regeneration. Our clients landscape team is growing, and they’re looking for someone who enjoys taking the lead, mentoring others, and making a real impact through thoughtful, sustainable design. The team works across the UK, with flexibility around where and how you work, and a strong focus on collaboration and creativity.
 
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
  • Lead the development of LVIA and other landscape planning inputs on major projects
  • Create clear, engaging visuals and reports for clients and consultations
  • Build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and project teams
  • Get involved in proposals and help shape new business opportunities
  • Support, mentor, and inspire junior colleagues
  • Visit sites and capture technical photography when needed
 
QUALIFICATIONS AND KEY SKILLS
  • A degree in Landscape Architecture
  • A Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute (CMLI)
  • A solid background in landscape planning, particularly in sectors like renewable energy or infrastructure
  • Experience leading teams and managing projects
  • A collaborative, open approach and great communication skills
  • Strong writing and visual presentation abilities
  • Good working knowledge of tools like Adobe Creative Suite, GIS, and Microsoft Office
