Role – Senior Ecologist
Location – Bristol
Salary - £30 - £35K DOE
LEAD have been contacted by a Multidisciplinary Company who have reached that point where they need a Senior Ecologist for their growing ecological department. Their projects range from small domestic schemes to large-scale residential and commercial developments across the country, working alongside the Arboricultural and Landscape Designers supporting a range of clients.
THE ROLE
- Undertaking a variety of ecological surveys
- Carrying out desk studies
- Writing detailed reports
- Liaising with clients and statutory bodies
- Undertaking Ecological Impact Assessments
- Writing proposals
- Assisting with tenders
- Data management
SENIOR ECOLOGIST KEY REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in ecology or closely related subject
- Associate Level CIEEM membership
- An in-depth knowledge of ecology, legislation, and survey techniques
- An excellent project manager
- Excellent client liaison skills
- Excellent written communication skills
- The ability to produce technical reports to a high standard
- A full UK driving licence
