Role – Senior Ecologist
Location – Devon
Salary - £30 - £35K DOE
Lead Careers have a great opportunity available for a Senior Ecologist. You will be joining an experienced and friendly team within a multidisciplinary consultancy based in Devon. This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Ecologist to join their team and provide ecological services to their clients across the UK. The role will involve providing support and knowledge to the company’s ecological projects, managing and supporting junior members of the team, tendering for new work, client liaison and undertaking ecology and protected species surveys.
SENIOR ECOLOGIST KEY REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in ecology or closely related subject
- At least 4 years’ private consultancy experience
- Strong project management skills
- An in-depth knowledge of ecology, legislation, and survey techniques
- Membership of CIEEM
- Excellent fieldwork and report writing skills
- Excellent business development skills
- Hold 1 or more EPS Licences (bats advantageous)
- The ability to manage junior members of staff
- Hold a full & clean driving licence
- Eligible to work in the UK
