Role – Senior Ecologist
Location – Scotland
Salary - £32 - £38K DOE
Lead Careers have a great opportunity for a Senior Ecologist who is looking for their next role within a friendly team in the North of Scotland. They are a well-established Ecological Consultancy who work with a range of clients including developers, large corporations, and governments to solve a wide variety of environmental projects throughout the Highlands & Islands. They have been the go-to consultancy for many developers, local authorities for over 10 years.
SENIOR ECOLOGIST REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in Ecology or closely related subject
- 3-5 years’ consultancy experience
- Project management experience
- An excellent report writer
- Excellent time management skills
- At least 1 protected species licence
- A specialism in 1 discipline as a minimum, ideally ornithology, protected mammal species such as bats, or habitats (NVC, Phase 1 and/or UKHab)
- ECoW and BNG Calculation experience is desirable
- A full UK driving licence is essential
