Role – Senior Ecologist
Salary – Negotiable DOE
Location – Shropshire
Our client is a small multidisciplinary consultancy made up of Ecologists and Landscape Architects. They are looking for a Senior Ecologist to join their professional team based out of their Shropshire based office. A creative, friendly, commercially focussed team who work flexibly and make sure everyone has a good work/ life balance. Some of their ecology services include Biodiversity Net Gain- assessment, design and monitoring, Protected species surveys, licencing, mitigation and monitoring, ECoW, Botanical and habitat surveys, Ecological Impact Assessments and Preliminary Ecological Appraisals
SENIOR ECOLOGIST KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- A degree in ecology or closely related subject
- Minimum 4 years’ experience
- CIEEM Membership
- At least 1 protected species licence
- Knowledge and experience of Biodiversity Net Gain and using the statutory metric
- Excellent report writing and presentation skills
- Experience and knowledge of using a range of software, including QGIS
- Full UK driving licence and own vehicle
