Role – Senior Landscape Architect
Location – Cheshire/Hybrid
Salary - £DOE
An independent landscape and environmental consultancy is looking for a Senior Landscape Architect or Senior Landscape Architect to join its growing team. The practice works across a good mix of residential, education, leisure and mixed-use projects, with landscape architecture working closely alongside in-house ecology and drainage teams. This role would suit someone who is comfortable managing their own projects and workload without needing lots of day-to-day supervision.
THE ROLE
- Working on projects from concept and planning through to detailed design and delivery
- Producing landscape designs, drawings and technical information
- Preparing reports, appraisals and information for planning applications
- Managing individual projects and workloads
- Liaising directly with clients and other consultants
- Working alongside ecology and engineering colleagues
- Supporting junior members of the team where appropriate
SENIOR LANDSCAPE ARCHITECT REQUIREMENTS
- 5+ years' post-graduate landscape architecture experience
- Chartered or close to Chartership
- Experience of landscape and ecological designations
- Experience preparing or reviewing design-based landscape assessments
- Good report writing skills
- Confidence dealing directly with clients and consultants
- Strong skills across relevant landscape design and drawing software
- The ability to manage several projects and deadlines independently
- Experience to lead projects and provide some support to more junior members of the team
