Role – Senior Landscape Architect
Location – Glasgow
Salary – £DOE

A design-led landscape architecture practice is seeking a Senior Landscape Architect to join their talented team and contribute to a diverse portfolio of projects across Scotland and the UK. The role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile design projects, mentor junior staff, and help shape the future direction of the studio.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead landscape architecture projects from concept through to delivery, ensuring design excellence and technical accuracy
  • Prepare detailed drawings, specifications, and design documentation for projects including public realm, parks, strategic masterplans, and blue-green infrastructure
  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated and innovative design solutions
  • Mentor and support junior staff, promoting professional development and a collaborative studio culture
  • Contribute to design strategies, feasibility studies, and masterplanning exercises.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, sustainability standards, and best practice in landscape design
 
ABOUT YOU
  • Chartered or near-chartered landscape architect (or equivalent experience) with a strong design portfolio.
  • Significant experience in landscape architecture, with demonstrable experience leading projects
  • Strong design, technical, and project management skills
  • Proficiency with digital design tools (CAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, GIS, Rhino, etc.).
  • Excellent communication and client management skills
  • Passion for sustainable, inclusive, and innovative landscape design
